Product Overview
A Fuse is an safety device used to protect an electrical circuit from higher current. It has a strip of wire that melts and breaks an electric circuit when the current exceeds a desired level. Regular fuses are always connected in series with components to be protect from overcurrent, so when the fuse blows (opens) it will open the circuit and stop any current through the components. Regular fuses do not allow for any spike over the current rating of the fuse. This kit includes ultra-rapid fuse which are ideal for power semiconductors such as diodes, thyristors and triacs, these fuses bursts instantly when high current is passed through it. is a fast acting full range fuse designed for the protection of discrete semiconductor devices and other electronic equipments. This kit includes 2 cartridge fuses with a ceramic tube with metal caps on both ends. This ultra-rapid fuse set can be used with GE's Computed Tomography (CT) Systems.
